Love the location. Actually cancelled our stay at the gracery in namba as I had stayed here a week earlier and loved it so much. I prefer the location to the over touristy area of Namba (where you can barely move it’s so crowded). Osaka station is a nice walking distance. Use the modern and spacious garden city underground access only about 8 min walk from the hotel and it will give you access to the kitte building, Ōsaka station, department stores etc and give you a reprieve from the cold outside (if travelling in winter). Staff a very helpful and one female staff member helped us book Sapporo beer museum for the next part of our trip. She stayed on the phone some time organising all you can eat at the beer museum restaurant for us.

The service was top-notch with Japanese hospitality and service. The room was on the small side but nice & with a view. The best part was the hot spring (onsen) room - large facility, not crowded, and super clean. This is a very "Japanese" hotel in their service and attitude. You may change into Japanese pajamas and have the run of the hotel. Staff takes long and deep bows. Nice restaurant serving very traditional Japanese dishes. Location is quiet but accessible to many places with a 10 min walk to the subway/metro station. Shuttle to train station is great convenience.

The hotel staff are very friendly. There is a nice restaurant in the hotel which was well priced. The rooms were small but the bathroom made up for lack of space for luggage storage. The onsen located on top of the hotel was clean and well maintained. The onsen consists of an indoor bathing area and there’s also an additional outdoor spa bath, perfect for stargazing in the early morning. The bathroom inside the hotel room was large with a generous ceiling shower head which was so relaxing after a big day of exploring. The bedding was very comfortable. Loved the doonahs.

I am not a smoker but I got a smoking room to accommodate my mom, who was staying with me. The room does have a strong smoke smell, but has an air purifier and is quite clean. I felt like everything was comfortable aside from the smell (to be expected) and the view was great. I was impressed at how nice everything was, and the carbonated public bath was terrific. Staff were all friendly, and they gave us drip coffee for using the eco friendly option (where you let staff know they don't have to clean your room other than the essentials like towels and trash).

The view! The comfort of the beds and bedding. The lighting options. That we could log into our Netflix account on the TV. Initially, we had a room on the 3rd floor which had the window blocked out with an opaque cover because the view was not nice. We disliked this room and asked for a different room, for a small fee, we were given a much better room on the 11th floor and the views were spectacular!
